In Beijing, consumers need to pass real-name verification to purchase fireworks and firecrackers
According to the Beijing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau, the safety management of sales and storage of fireworks and firecrackers in the Spring Festival of 2019 is in place. The Beijing City Sub-center will not set up retail outlets for fireworks and firecrackers, and will implement real-name system purchases.
Tang Mingming, deputy director of the Municipal Emergency Bureau, revealed that the number of fireworks and firecrackers will be reduced from more than 80 last year to more than 30, but at least one is required for each district. In addition to not setting up retail outlets within the city's Fifth Ring Road (including the Fifth Ring Road), the sub-center is also included in the non-set area for the first time. The sales time is from January 30th to February 9th (the fifth day of the lunar calendar to the fifth day of the first month).
In addition, this year, in order to strengthen the supervision of the flow of fireworks and firecrackers, the real-name system will be implemented. “Each retail point will be equipped with special instruments, and the ID card will be purchased for purchase. Once the problem occurs, it can be traced back to the purchaser.” Tang Mingming pointed out.
