Sydney, Australia, ushered in 2019 in colorful fireworks. At midnight, tens of thousands of fireworks flew from the seven barges moored in the harbour, sparkling with the brilliance of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It is reported that most of these beautiful fireworks are produced in China.
The midnight fireworks show is based on the theme of “Sydney Pulse” and is 12 minutes long. The combination of novel pulsating shapes and multi-color undulating gradient effects creates a night of meteor showers. The green and peach colors that reflect the summer colors of Sydney have become the new darling of the night.
Sydney Mayor Clover Moore said about 1 million spectators watched the New Year's fireworks show.
The general director of the fireworks show, Fortunato Foti, said that the event used 8.5 tons of fireworks, 90% of which were purchased from China.
