On February 25th, the Ministry of Public Security's Social Public Safety Application Basic Standardization Technical Committee and the National Fireworks and Firecracker Standardization Technical Committee organized an expert review meeting to amend the mandatory national standard “Safety Technical Regulations for Large-scale Fireworks Display” in Liuyang. On September 1, 2009, the mandatory national standards for the "Safety Technical Regulations for Large-scale Fireworks Display" were officially implemented. In September 2018, commissioned by the Public Security Administration of the Ministry of Public Security and the Social Public Safety Application Foundation Standardization Technical Committee, the National Fireworks and Firecracker Standardization Technical Committee organized the drafting of the revised Regulations and officially issued the draft for the standard.
On the 25th, an expert review team composed of 15 experts conducted a careful and meticulous review of the revised version of the Regulations. The conclusions of the review were to change the name of the Regulations from the Safety Technical Regulations for Large-scale Fireworks Display to the Safety Regulations for Fireworks Display. Considering the type and quantity of fireworks, the size of the fireworks, the level of activity, and the environmental factors, the fireworks rating will be changed from 5 to 4.
After the completion of the revision work, the second draft of the solicitation opinion will be submitted to the Ministry of Public Security.
